The mission of the 97’ Summit Plastic Hockey Club is to create, maintain and develop a team of dedicated hockey players with the long range goal of competing for a national title in the Bantam and Midget divisions. The coaching staff and players will progress to this level though hard work, discipline and commitment to the team.
The coaches will commit to individual players for long term development. They will endeavor to create an atmosphere where players and parents realize skill and team improvements, and minimize the stress of roster changes. This will create a solid team foundation which can be built on through common experience and camaraderie. Strong inter-team relationships will be nurtured with the belief that these on and off ice relationships build a solid team that will back each other in all situations on and off the ice.
The players will grow through the advancement of skills, common understanding, consistent teaching and extraordinary experiences. They will understand and embrace solid work ethic principles and strive as a team to improve each other. They will support each other in all aspects on and off the ice, at school and at the rink.
The coaching staff and players of the 97’ Summit Hockey Club stand together and pledge to do their absolute individual best to further this mission for the good of the team.
